The role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated graduate to join our Clinical Development department. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to late phase clinical development with a focus on the scientific as well as the clinical operations of real-world evidence (RWE) and clinical trials. You will play a role in supporting the design, planning, execution, reporting and providing oversight to department-run clinical and RWE programmes and due diligence activities for potential new in-licensing medicine opportunities.

What you'll be involved in:

  • Assisting in the preparation of clinical trial protocols and study documents
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, medical affairs, market access, strategic marketing, external vendors/consultants like biostatistician, medical writer etc. to support clinical study design and setup
  • Monitoring study timelines and milestones to ensure adherence to project schedules.
  • Supporting in contract negotiation and execution
  • Liaising with contract research organizations (CROs) and study sites to ensure smooth execution of trials
  • Ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards
  • Assisting in the due diligence activity and collection of clinical trial data
  • Preparing and maintaining essential clinical trial documentation
  • Contributing to the preparation of clinical study reports and presentations
  • Ensuring adherence to clinical trial regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies
  • Staying updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the clinical evaluation of new potential medicine in-licensed opportunities

About you:

  • On track to achieve a minimum 2.1 degree in life sciences, pharmaceutical science, medicine or related disciplines
  • Experience in a clinical development or pharmaceutical environment is a plus, but not essential
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal communication in business English
  • Strong aptitude for technology and highly proficient in the use of MS Office, including intermediate to advanced level Excel
  • Ability to relate to stakeholders at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds
  • First class numerical and analytical skills
  • Project management skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking
  • Strategic thinking and data analysis skills
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
