A liveinHousekeeper is sought for a prestigious country estate near BanburyNorth Oxfordshire. This is a part time weekend residence withoccasional use during thesummer.

Thelarge manor home is fully staffed with 9 bedrooms 3 reception roomsand a separate outdoor pool pool house and tennis court. Thehousehold style is informal but done to a very highstandard.

Thehousekeeper would be expected to be on duty at weekends when ownersin residence including evenings as late as needed for dutiesturning down of beds cleaning tidying laundry fire setting washingup shopping flowers and light household admin. Cooking to a gooddinner party standard is a bonus as well as assisting with foodprep drinks pouring food serving and other hospitality relatedduties.

Adriver is essential due to the location of the role as well asoccasional driving to the train station or airport pickups and dropoffs of guests if needed.

Theemployer has a large chalet in Switzerland. The housekeeper wouldbe required to travel out a day or two ahead of the couple sarrival to prepare the chalet look after the party during residence(cleaning/laundry/tidying/shopping/assistance with mealprep/cooking/serving and washing up in the evenings) and stay a dayor two later to clean up and closeup.

Timeoff would be given in lieu of days off missed during thesetrips.

Youmust be dog friendly as the couple have dogs which will need caringandwalking.

Rolewould suit an experienced high calibre candidate that is selfstarting and respectful withflexibility.


5days per week to include weekends up to 4045hrs per week.

Salaryis negotiable around 45 50k gross per annum depending onexperience.

Accommodationis a 2 bed apartment in the stable block adjacent to the mainhouse. (Partners welcome but regret no pets ordependants).

Thereis shared use of an estate car for work purposes.

Roleto commence once the right candidate isfound.
