Job Description

XP Power are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Reporting and Data Governance Manager responsible for a team to support all global reporting and data governance falling under the control of one central team. In addition, you’ll provide leadership and oversight to the SAP S4 Hana Material Master Team, Power BI Specialist and Data Governance Team.The ideal candidate will be involved in strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that the organisation's reporting and data governance practices are efficient, effective, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be responsible for creating and enforcing policies for effective data management.
  • You’ll formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
  • Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc
  • You’ll ensure that all data changes are governed.
  • Recognise the business requirements in the context of BI and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights
  • Analyse data and display it in reports and dashboards to aid decision -making
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship between IT and business areas and ensure timely support of day-to-day business processing needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with third party support partners, including regular reviews of performance to ensure a positive and productive service is provided.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as data manager
  • Background with BI tools and systems such as Power BI and SAP
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution)
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access etc)
  • An analytical mindset with problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience of managing 3rd party software or support organisations
  • Hands on support of business systems/ERP preferably SAP S4 Hana
  • Experience of working with recognised business systems from major software vendors e.g. SAP, Salesforce
  • Ability to present complex problems in a simple manner and to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with global colleagues at all levels including directors
  • Experience of working with global multifunctional teams
  • Experience of leading, coaching and developing a global team
