As the Category Manager, you will act as the commercial expert for your category. Leveraging your market expertise, you will develop and implement strategies to ensure that our client remains a leader in commercial arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management: Oversee a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring continuous improvement and added value throughout the contract lifecycle. Market Insight: Provide in-depth category knowledge and market insights to internal stakeholders. Develop category strategies, support sourcing events, and manage category-level risks. Commercial Expertise: Utilize your commercial expertise to help swiftly adapt to market changes. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate proactively with internal stakeholders to shape category strategies, understand business needs, and manage spending and suppliers. Tender Management: Lead and evaluate competitive tenders and proposals for goods and services. Supplier Interface: Serve as a key contact with suppliers within the category. Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting on sourcing projects using available tools. Compliance: Adhere to company and department standards, policies, and procedures.

Risk Management: Ability to prioritize and manage risk and complexity effectively.
