Year 3 Teacher RE Leaderresponsibilities:

  • Managethe teaching and learning of RE
  • To raisestandards of student attainment and achievement within the wholecurriculum area
  • Plan and organise schemes ofwork in line with the schools curriculum and nationalstandards
  • Oversee curriculum coveragecontinuity and progression in RE throughout theschool
  • Assess and evaluate Year 3 studentprogress using a range of formative and summative assessmentstrategies
  • Provide regular feedback to Year 3students parents and colleagues on studentprogress
  • Create a safe inclusive and supportivelearning environment
  • To ensure that there is aclear curriculum in place that matches the needs of thestudents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to planand deliver outstanding teaching and learningexperiences

Year 3Teacher RE Leaderrequirements:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Education PGCE or related field
  • QTS(Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalentqualification
  • Uptodate knowledge of the primaryschool curriculum and national teachingstandards
  • At least 2 years experience teachingKS2
  • Experience leading a subject or yeargroup
  • Excellent communication organisationaland teamwork skills
  • A passion for education anda commitment to student welfare
  • An ability toinspire and motivate Year 3 students of allabilities.
