Job Description

Purpose:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that

support the Central Services function. This role requires a strong background in Excel, Power BI and SQL, with the ability

to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities:

Collect, process, and analyse data from various sources to support business decisions.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide real-time insights.

Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis.

Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions.

Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis.

Present data findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.

Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform strategic decisions.

Support the implementation of data analytics best practices and methodologies within the organization.

Provide training and support to team members on data analytics tools and techniques.

Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a

related field.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

Proficient in Power BI and SQL, good understanding of DAX and PowerQuery.

Advanced Excel skills including knowledge of formulas, Pivots, PowerPivots and PowerQuery.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information

with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

Experience with data visualization techniques and tools.

Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data issues.
