Your impact:

As the Maintenance SupervisorMechanical you will be responsible for overseeing maintenancerepair and inspection activities of mechanical equipment used inoffshore geotechnical operations. Leading a team of skilledtechnicians youll plan maintenance schedules implement preventivestrategies and ensure safe and efficient operations. Internationaltravel may be required to support activities across ourfleet.

TheJob:

  • Supervise andsupport a team of mechanicaltechnicians.
  • Develop and implement maintenanceschedules and strategies.
  • Conduct regularinspections and assessments ofequipment.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenanceactivities to minimize downtime.
  • Respond toequipment breakdowns and coordinaterepairs.
  • Maintain accurate records ofmaintenance activities and spare partsinventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safetyregulations and company policies.
  • Identifyopportunities for processimprovement.
  • Collaborate with other departmentsto optimize equipment performance.
  • Assist inselection and training of team members.
  • Stayupdated with industry trends and recommend equipmentupgrades.

ThePerson:

  • Bachelorsdegree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in a similar rolewithin an industrial setting preferably offshoreoperations.
  • Certifications in relevantareas.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systemsincluding diesel engines hydraulics and geotechnical drillingequipment.
  • Experience in team leadership andeffective management of technicians.
  • Proficientin planning and executing preventive maintenanceprograms.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills andability to diagnose mechanicalissues.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations andbest practices in mechanicalmaintenance.
  • Strong communication andinterpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to workoffshore and adapt to irregular schedules ifrequired.
  • Knowledge of highpressure pneumaticsor compensation systems isadvantageous
