Supports the Matron to provide leadership and management for the development implementation and monitoring of Core Standard of Critical Care (D5)
Support effective patient flows and management of bed resources within the unit and Trust
Required to work flexibly to cover as service provision requires

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Person specification Experience Essential criteria- Extensive recent experience at Band 6 in Critical Care
- Strong management / leadership skills.
- Evidence of involvement in change management
- Understanding of capacity and flow management
- Shadowing/Acting up at Band 7.
- Co-ordination experience.
- Registered Nurse (Adult).
- ENB100/ENB 998 or equivalent mentor qualification.
- Leadership qualification/experience.
- Degree
- High standards of accuracy.
- Ability to understand, absorb and comply with detailed procedures.
- Able to manage more than one task at once.
- Able to perform as a shift leader.
