Responsibilitiesof a NurseryTeacher:

  • As a NurseryTeacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of childrentaking their first steps in Early Years Foundation Stage promotingteamwork and cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
  • Teaching the Early YearsFoundation Stage curriculum to groups of children while alsofocusing on each individual childs learning targets encouragingtheir strengths and improving theirweaknesses
  • Further developing maths ability andintroducing fractions statistics andgeometry
  • Help children develop their writingability by creating plots characters and settings forstories.
  • Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents
