About the Role

Exciting opportunity for a versatile Relief Security Officer in the dynamic city of Manchester with Securitas Join our team and work 42 hours a week, covering both day and night shifts.

As a Relief Security Officer, your diverse skill set includes a strong focus on customer service, adept report writing abilities, and effective patrolling techniques. Holding an SIA license and a First Aid certificate, you bring a high level of professionalism and expertise to the role. Your flexibility allows you to adapt seamlessly to changing circumstances, ensuring the security and well-being of the environment.

Acting as a point of contact for customers, you contribute to a positive and secure atmosphere. Your ability to escalate incidents when necessary showcases your commitment to maintaining a safe environment.

Job Opportunity
  • Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols.
  • Maintain all logbooks and records, ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
  • Dealing with various emergency situations, including report writing and communicating with emergency services
  • Efficient reporting of loss, stolen and or vandalised equipment and/or property
  • Ensuring the Safety of Employees and Customers.
  • Radio etiquette
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Manage multiple tasks
  • The ability to make good judgment and come to sensible conclusions
  • Act as a point of contact for customers
  • Escalate incidents as required
