It is expected that the role holder will become proficient in these techniques and will be able to train and assist PhD students and/or visiting students, and researchers within the group. The role holder will also be expected to perform routine technical support, e.g., maintenance of equipment and ordering of laboratory consumables, and will abide by health and safety regulations and be compliant with ethical legislation when working with human brain tissue.
