Avante Care & Support is a Registered Charity supporting over older people through our registered nursing and dementia care homes and home care services. We are looking for Care Assistants to join our residential care home, Bridge Haven, located in Bridge, near Canterbury, Kent. We have the following vacancies:

Full or Part time, day shifts (to include alternate weekends)

Full or Part time, night shifts (to include alternate weekends)

Relief positions

As a Care Assistant you will be reliable, friendly and professional. You will be a team player with great communication skills and a flexible approach to work.

Whilst previous experience is useful, it is not essential as we will train you and provide you with the opportunity to complete your professional qualifications, if required.

If you have recently been made redundant from a customer service role we welcome your application. The skills required for customer service are transferable and relevant for looking after vulnerable people.

You and your colleagues will be responsible for creating a new, positive and engaging lifestyle for our residents, whilst delivering the day to day care and comfort they need.

Main Duties will include:

Personal Care. Supporting and encouraging the well-being of residents. Assisting residents with all activities of daily life.
