Joining The AA as an MI Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and refining Management Information dashboards and reports for all AA business units. Collaborating within a dynamic team, you'll design, evolve, and support a variety of management information systems. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and analysing data-related issues within the Data & Analytics domain, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data analysis.

You’ll have the unique opportunity to advance your career within a fast-paced environment that's central to a data-centric organisation by supporting various AA business areas i.e., Claims, Road Operations, Road Commercial, Customer, and Insurance, providing crucial data insights to guide business strategies and decisions.

What will I be doing?
  • Develop and maintain the semantic layer for MI ecosystems, ensuring analytical and operational MI are enabled
  • Provide accurate and timely Management Information to diverse stakeholder groups
  • Conduct in-depth data and MI analysis to uncover insights for business performance enhancement, including defect triage and resolution
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand MI requirements
  • Design and implement robust system solutions, adhering to AAIT standards and integrating with existing processes
  • Manage the full MI process lifecycle, from development to operations transfer, following AA development standards and methodologies
What do I need?
  • Experience working within a fast-paced reporting or MI/BI team, navigating complex business landscapes
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL and Power BI along with experience of building dashboards and/or reports
  • Capable of extracting and conducting complex data analysis on large datasets and understanding data models and data warehouse principles
  • Self-sufficient and proactive mindset with a natural flair for problem-solving whilst eagerly learning and developing further
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex data to a mix of audiences both technical and non-technical at varying levels
