Overview:

TheEvent and Press Relations Manager will have two main roles.

First you will beresponsible for designing andexecuting Sapios annual event and conference plan. This involvescoordinating and executing all regional events across North AmericaEurope and beyond. It also includes producing event materialscollateral and merchandise managing booth setup/teardown shippingand logistics and collaborating with sales staff before during andafter to ensure a successful event and help them generatehighquality sales leads.

Secondly the roleinvolves managing and coordinating our relationship with the Pressand Media with the support of Sapios Press Agency. You will leadthe creation and press calendar announcements and press engagementvia editorials/ media/ events/ social/ etcetera extending the reachand awareness of Sapios message in our target market. The goal isto maximize relevant and positive coverage in target mediacontributing to our brand awareness and revenue growth amongst keydecisionmakers and influencers at our clients andprospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning andManagement: Organize and coordinate all aspects ofregional events including conference and venue selection vendormanagement event staffing and onsite execution.
  • Event Performance: regularlyreport on event performance and make recommendations to adapt ourevent plan to ensure we maximize the efficacy of our marketingspend.
  • MaterialProduction: Oversee the creation and distribution ofall event materials ensuring they align with Sapios branding andcommunication goals.
  • Booth andLogistics Coordination: Design and manage boothsetups including transportation setup and breakdown ensuring aprofessional presence at all events.
  • Sales Coordination andCollaboration: Work closely with sales teams toensure they are well briefed before events well supported at eventsand gather leads and feedback post events.
  • Press Relations Management:Serve as the primary contact for our Press Agency coordinatingefforts to secure highquality coverage in relevant mediaoutlets.
  • Media StrategyDevelopment: Develop and implement strategies toenhance media coverage including at events involving but notlimited to press releases press interviews byline articles awardssubmissions and more.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitorand report on the effectiveness of event and press activitiescontinuously analyzing data to improve our outreachstrategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event management and press relationspreferably in the life sciences sector.
  • Strongorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM andevent management software.
  • Bachelors degree inMarketing Communications Public Relations Science or a relatedfield.
