Car Parks Team Leader.

Based at East Midlands Airport.

Salary £33,279.84 - Full Time (42 hours per week).

Permanent - 4 on 4 rotation with a mix of days and nights.

The role

With 170,000 movements of vehicles and supporting 15,000 car parking spaces we aim to provide an exceptional and inclusive customer service experience to all customers. As a key member of our dedicated Car Parks team, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers to travel safely through our airport, in our car parks and as they leave on their return journey. 

 

The Car Parks team leader role is challenging yet rewarding. The main duties include: 

 

Driving car parks performance, utilising appropriate systems to analyse throughputs and demands, to ensure key performance measures are met.  

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encouragement from within the team. 

Ensure SOP changes are well communicated and thoroughly understood and complied with. 

Manage all operational Health & Safety requirements (including risk assessments) and develop a safety focussed culture within the operational delivery teams.  

Ensure regular communications are delivered to all colleagues in a timely and engaging manner ensuring accessibility and consistency. 

Accountable for line management of landside operations team, carrying out people management activity including one to ones, health and wellbeing and application of HR policy and processes where required.

Possess excellent communication skills and strong IT skills with experience in MS packages. 

Ability to build effective, lasting professional relationships with customers and colleagues. 

Passion for delivering an excellent customer service and striving for best practice improvements. 

Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment. 

Be a strong role model to the Car Parks Team.  

Advocate for change and supporting the team through any process improvements.
