The role is offering up to £25,000 per annum + additional benefits. 

The Opportunity 

This position will directly report to the Senior Management Team (SMT) and will take ownership of their individual ledger. The ideal candidate will be responsible for actively reducing aged-debt, building a rapport with debtors and chasing debt via phone or email.

Duties will encompass, but are not limited to:

Hands on with reducing outstanding debt Credit checking new accounts Setting credit limits for approval Chasing debt via phone or email Managing any queries Sending out invoices or statements Ad-hoc duties as required

Background and Experience

To be considered for the role, you will:

Experienced in owning a large ledger Proven history of reducing age-debt Exceptional communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vLookups and Pivot Tables Previous experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, etc.

Flexibility and Benefits 

The role of Credit Controller is offering the following package: 

Up to £25,000 per annum (DOE)  32.5 hour working week  Flexible working policy (start / finish times + home working) Generous holiday allowance  Other benefits and details available on request

The office is based in Edinburgh City Centre and is easily accessible via public transport.
