If you have experience supporting pupils as a teaching assistant in Primary, Secondary or in SEN schools and are looking for a position that will compliment and reward your skillset – this role may be of interest to you. Teaching Personnel are recruiting L3 TAs on behalf of primary schools in the OL1 area.
About the role:
- Full-time role, 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday.
- £84- £95 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
- Start date: December 2024.
Main duties:
- Support holistic learning both in and out of the classroom as directed to by the class teacher.
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
- Support the children in engaging them in learning activities and help support individual children in ways that suit their learning styles.
- De-escalate high stress situations and escalate concerns to appropriate staff members.
- Work in collaboration with staff members within the classroom and wider school community.
About you:
- Is an adaptable, proactive and collaborative team player.
- Is patient and understanding.
- Has had previous experience working with children in some educational/learning capacity.
- May have had previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Relevant qualifications preferred.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
