About the Role

Exciting security opportunity in Birmingham with Securitas We're searching for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team, working Monday to Friday from 5pm to 10pm, totalling 25 hours per week.

As a Security Officer, your good communication skills, combined with a customer service-oriented approach, contribute to creating a secure and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. Your proficiency in telephone and computer skills enhances your ability to manage various security-related tasks efficiently.

Job Opportunity
  • Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols.
  • Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties.
  • Maintain all logbooks and records.
  • Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
  • Access / Egress
  • Reception duties within multi tenancy building.
  • Signing in and out visitors 



Essential Skills
  • SIA licence
  • Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history 
  • Access to vehicle or good transport links (reasonable commuting distance )
