Job summary
This post involves working across the South Devon Health Community in a range of ward settings, out-patient departments, intermediate care facilities, patients own home and community facilities.
To provide a high standard of Physiotherapy service to general musculoskeletal out-patients, in and out-patient trauma and orthopaedics, medical and surgical, neurology, elderly and intermediate care, community rehabilitation and specialist rehabilitation services, specialist in-patient services in ICU and CCU.
Deputise for more senior staff in their absence (daily/weekly basis), taking responsibility for allocating and organising the work of assistant and support staff to meet priorities on a daily basis.

Qualifications
Essential
Diploma/degree in physiotherapy State registration - current HCPC certificate. Recent evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio, including attendance at recent Postgraduate courses relevant to the clinical field
Knowledge
Essential
Experience in the core clinical areas of physiotherapy within an NHS setting - areas include respiratory, musculoskeletal, acute inpatient and elderly care, trauma and orthopaedics, community or intermediate care and neurological conditions
Desirable
Post Graduate experience in Physiotherapy related field-
