About the Role


Are you an experienced Electrical Fitter with a passion for precision and quality? Our client, an expert in aerospace maintenance and repair with over 60 years of excellence, is looking for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join their Power Generation production team. In this role, you’ll be working hands-on with essential components, contributing to the safe and reliable operation of aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Overhaul and Assembly: Dismantle, clean, inspect, and reassemble small electro-mechanical components to ensure they meet top standards.
  • Quality and Accuracy: Complete detailed inspection reports, updating component information in computer systems.
  • Meet Production Goals: Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Safety First: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a secure workspace.

What We’re Looking For


Relevant Experience: Prior experience in an engineering or workshop environment is essential, ideally with a focus on power generation or electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • ONC / HNC in Engineering (desirable)
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (desirable)
  • Aerospace Background: Previous experience in the aerospace or aviation industry is a plus, but not a must.
