We are currently on the hunt for a Project Manager (Buildings) to join our vibrant team in the bustling Port of Dover.

As a Project Manager (Buildings), you will oversee the delivery of new buildings, renovations, and demolitions from inception to completion. You’ll orchestrate each project stage through our Ports Governance process, ensuring seamless operation even in a live port environment. Your role will involve leading a collaborative approach among in-house experts, external consultants, contractors, and various stakeholders across the port estate.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Project Manager (Buildings) Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng (or higher) in Construction Management/Building/Building Services or equivalent
  • Project Management qualification from APM or an equivalent professional body, or demonstrable experience
  • Proven experience in managing building construction projects
  • Strong track record in:
  • Managing a portfolio of construction projects
  • Managing projects through their entire lifecycle from inception to completion
  • Working with clients to produce effective scopes of works
  • Preparing contract documents for works and pricing information for consultants and contractors
  • Using MS Project and MS Office 365 proficiently
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
