THE ROLE
The role will assist in the delivery of testing function for the project roadmap planned at British Land working with other team members to create test cases, helping the business with UAT, defect management, along with automation testing across British Land applications.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The position requires a Test Analyst who has experience of working with the multiple teams and has a track record of improving performance of their area through the introduction of new techniques, processes and best practices. The successful candidate will have deep-rooted QA experience of both manual and automated testing, as well as applied knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Work closely with the Senior Test Analyst to identify and address areas of strength, weakness, risk, and opportunity and input into the long-term strategy and direction of the QA team. Get your hands dirty daily with both manual and automation testing. Ensure our audit processes (e.g. test sign offs) are followed and documented. Help to create new, and develop existing, test processes to improve efficiency and performance. Act as a SME to project and product managers, advising them on risks and timings enabling them to make informed decisions.ABOUT YOU
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
Extensive experience working experience in manual and automation testing of .NET Applications. Experience working on Agile scrum and Kanban projects. Good technical skills around testing API's, Databases Self-starter and comfortable working in a distributed environment A strong understanding of software product lifecycles Hands on experience of tools such as Oracle DB, Nunit and Xunit frameworks. Experience working on Multi-tier systems and integration with various platforms Must be well versed with different data models, data integration testing best practices, standards. Proficiency in analyzing business requirements (source to target mappings) and develop System test plans, test estimates, test strategies, test cases and test data. Coordinate sign-off of test plans with relevant stakeholders. Gather and manage test data required to execute test cases. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Performance testing is preferable. Experience of both manual and automated testing of Power Platform applications is preferable. OUR SHARED VALUES
