We are a very fast moving business, and you will have ample opportunity to speak up and bring your ideas to the table to be heard.  As a .NET Developer, as part of the Credas team, you will be responsible for writing clean and efficient code that follows the SOLID principles, operating as a contributory member of a small and collaborative Agile/Scrum team by actively participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. You will identify and resolve bugs and technical debt, collaborate with the Product team and fellow team members at every stage of the SDLC, always striving to improve our product and processes. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications using .NET Framework and Core, SQL, Angular 16/18 and Azure/ADO.
  • Write, test, and deploy high-quality code adhering to best practices and coding standards 
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge 
  • Integrate Playwright automation testing into the development process to ensure robust and reliable software 
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to identify, log, and resolve defects 
  • Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive test documentation 
  • Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives 
  • Work with the Product team to understand requirements and deliver features that meet customer needs 
  • Continuously seek to improve the development process and suggest changes to improve efficiency and quality 
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team 


Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseWe know you will have a wide and varied skill set, but we think the most important skills you need to thrive are; 
 
  • Proven experience in .NET development (Framework and Core), with experience of following CLEAN or SOLID principles. 
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with significant experience in Angular 16/18 
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database management 
  • Experience working with Azure Cloud services and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and workflow management 
  • Unit testing experience, preferably xUnit 
  • Proven experience using Entity Framework 
  • Proven experience using NService Bus and/or Azure Service Bus 
  • Extensive experience writing APIs in .NET and using associated tools such as Postman
  • Proven experience using Git or other source control tools 
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies 
  • Be a creative and proactive problem solver, able to independently seek out innovative solutions to complex problems 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to challenge decisions and have difficult conversations in a professional manner 
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment 
  • Keen attention to detail 
  • Experience within AML/IDV or the legal industry would be beneficial, but not required as long as you're excited to learn a new industry
