What does a day look like for you here? 

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where every day brings something new? As our Driver Warehouse Operative, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that vital IT equipment reaches its destination safely and on time. This is more than just a driving job; it’s about being a crucial link in our chain of service excellence. In this role, you’ll take charge of delivering and collecting essential IT equipment for rehearsals, ensuring it reaches our recovery centres and client sites efficiently. You’ll be hands-on with vehicle preparation, loading, unloading, and readying our mobile recovery units for the road.

When you're not driving, your focus will shift to the warehouse, where you’ll assist with various tasks, keeping operations smooth and efficient. Your responsibilities will include conducting site surveys to guarantee seamless deliveries and collections, as well as maintaining a safe and clutter-free environment in the transport yard and warehouse.

Safety is paramount, so you'll carry out daily FLT checks and handle incoming parcels and supplies, making sure they’re distributed correctly. Additionally, you’ll support the team with general admin tasks and diligently report any accidents or near misses in accordance with HSE guidelines, ensuring the well-being of everyone on site.

To ensure we’re always ready to respond, you will also participate in a 24x7 call out rotation once every three weeks.  The call out rotation helps to ensure that we’re always ready to respond, contributing to the planning and organisation of our logistics.

A strong sense of responsibility is also vital, especially since you’ll be part of a 24x7 call-out rotation, requiring you to be ready to respond to urgent needs. We’re looking for someone who is safety-conscious, with the ability to conduct daily FLT checks and adhere to health and safety guidelines. Flexibility and a positive attitude towards teamwork are also key, as you’ll be assisting with various tasks and supporting the smooth running of our logistics and warehouse functions.

You should also have:

  • Clean driving licence (required)
  • Current FLT licence (required)
  • Proficiency in using a PC (required)
