The Role

To provide a comprehensive audio typing and administrative service to a Physician/General Surgeon/Dental Consultant or group of Physicians/Surgeons/Dental Consultants or Associate Specialists

What we'll need you to bring

Educated to Standard Grade with an RSA or equivalent typing qualification Minimum 2 years experience within an office environment Proficient in the use of software systems Advanced keyboard skills Medical terminology Good organisational and communication skills

It would be great if you also have

Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change Good audio typing skills Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems Proven ability to work under pressure

Contract type

Fixed Term or Secondment until April 2025 Full time 37hours

Please note this is a fixed term post until April 2025. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post. 

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in within University Hospital Monklands The working pattern for this role will be 08:30 - 16:30, Monday - Friday
