About the role

As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver for our client, you will:

  • Full load or low multi drop deliveries of product and collection of waste nationwide all loads are palletised boxes, or containers and will be loaded/unloaded by FLT on site.
  • To oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
  • Driving either Class 1 or Class 2 Vehicles.
  • To check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.

What you need to know:

  • Start times: between 06:00am and 08.00, plus overtime when necessary.
  • Shift pattern: Monday - Friday.

What you must have:

  • Must hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Must have experience driving a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months.
  • Must hold a valid ADR certification with all categories
  • Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences.
  • Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
