Night Nurse

Penmellyn Vets have a fantastic opportunity for a Part-time Night Nurse to join their St. Columb Major Hospital You will work alongside a fantastic team completing general nursing duties including; inpatient care, theatre work, triaging out-of-hours emergencies and supporting the night vet in providing an out-of-hours service. This new vacancy has become available due to expanding our current night team. Our night team, each night, currently consists of one night nurse, one night vet, a twilight nurse and a late evening and early morning prep room assistant or veterinary nurse student.

We are flexible with working patterns and days, with each nurse covering an aspect of weekend work and bank holidays.The rota includes working 3 nights per week.

Penmellyn Vets is set in Mid Cornwall, we have the main Hospital and 5 branch surgeries throughout the area. This vacancy is situated at the main hospital in St Columb, which is where our out-of-hours service runs from. We are a growing team and are excited to be increasing our night nurse staffing to provide the best care.
