Overview of the role:

JCB Attachments has a fantastic opportunity for a new Product Sales Manager – Breakers to join the team.

This challenging and exciting role will work closely with our internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and execute the Product Sales Strategy for all our breaker ranges sold to all global markets.

Your Responsibilities as a Product Sales Manager – Breakers:

· Develop a Product Sales Strategy to deliver the JCB Attachments 5 Year Plan.

· Analysis sales performance v plan and take appropriate actions to increase the business.

· Identify opportunities to introduce new products and set the product priorities for the future.

· Rationalise and simplify the product range as required to optimise sales volumes.

· Review our route to market strategy to have the most appropriate supply model.

· Evaluate future technologies and how we can integrate breakers with machines to improve product performance.

· Ensure customer interests are represented and communicated within JCB, spending time visiting both dealers and customers.

· Prepare sales and promotional material to ensure dealers and customers understand the features and benefits of our offering.

· Identify market opportunities in key regions and implement sales initiatives to deliver growth.

· Monitor competitor activity and regional pricing variance and review this with dealers to decide upon action to resolve lost sales.

· Carry out training and product road shows for dealers, customers and major accounts.

· Develop the aftermarket capability of dealers, including training, to maximise customer uptime and capitalise on the aftermarket business opportunity.

· Regularly present the JCB range of breakers & associated features and benefits to end users and our dealer body through events, exhibitions, and trade shows.

About you:

The successful applicant will have either a product or sales management will be dynamic and pro-active, able to motivate others and develop relationships with suppliers, internal teams and customers.

They should be committed and dedicated to overcome challenges and deliver results with a keen eye on setting and delivering aggressive targets.

Market and industry knowledge with an understanding of typical construction and agricultural applications would be advantageous but not vital.


The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills:
