Maths Teacher

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Salary: £150 - £200 per day

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

Start Date: ASAP

GSL Education South Yorkshire are seeking to employ a qualified Maths Teacher for a client school in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, conscientious, and energetic candidate with a strong track record of raising attainment.

As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering Maths lessons to the students.
  • Assisting in the creation of an engaging and innovative Maths curriculum.
  • Using all available tools, including ICT and online resources, to engage students.
  • Following the school's ethos and behaviour management policy to support positive behaviour throughout the school.
  • Encouraging students to become independent learners.
  • Participating in staff training days, meetings, and parents' evenings where applicable.

Essential requirements for a Maths Teacher:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be able to teach Maths to GCSE and A-Level standards.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Maths.
  • A passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Provide two professional references from within the last two years related to your teaching.
  • Be a committed educator who understands how special educational needs can affect teaching and learning.
  • Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
