Job description

We are looking for a Live-out Housekeeper for a private household.  A 7-bedroom historic property owned by an older professional couple.

Animal and Pet-friendly essential, 2 very loving dogs. 

Full and part time hours available

The Housekeeper will be responsible for all general housekeeping duties, including hovering, dusting, kitchen duties etc.  product knowledge essential

You will have a high level of attention to detail, be a very good communicator, organised and highly discreet. It is essential that you have previous experience working in a similar role, with experience of period properties an advantage.

Key
Responsibilities:


  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including
    dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Maintain all rooms, kitchens, bathrooms,
    and common areas to ensure they are clean and tidy.
  • Ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and
    fittings are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

  • Manage all household laundry tasks,
    including washing, ironing, folding, and storing clothes and linens.




  • Organise closets, pantries, and storage
    areas to maintain a neat and orderly environment.
  • Manage inventory of household supplies
    and restock as necessary.

Requirements:




  • Previous experience as a housekeeper in a
    private residence or luxury hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products,
    techniques, and equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and
    attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage
    time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a
    friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Trustworthy and reliable with a strong
    sense of integrity.
  • Discreet and respectful of the
    homeowner’s privacy.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
    and schedules.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
