Your responsibilities
as an Occupational Therapist will include:Communicating effectively with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, people who access services, carers/supporter/family members, stakeholders and agencies Providing compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff including support staff and assistants Ensuring the delivery of occupational therapy student placements Supporting the completion of appraisals/personal development plans with junior staff To be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, protocols and care pathways
To be a Successful Occupational Therapist you will need:
An Occupational Therapy professional qualification Extensive and relevant post qualification clinical experience with children and young people who have complex needs Extensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches To Demonstrate evidence highly effective clinical reasoning skills Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models Knowledge of how to work with childrenWhat you will get:

You’ll provide care and support to young people aged 12-18 with Eating Disorders or an eating difficulty with a co-morbid presentation for example mental health or psychological issues, such as depression, OCD or anxiety or self-harm.
Bere Clinic has12 spacious en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom is finished to a high standard and young people are encouraged to personalise their spaces.
There are spacious communal areas, a lounge and a separate dining area along with a large activity room and smaller spaces for individual, group, and family sessions. You’ll be part of a culture that has a strong emphasis on teamwork and where recovery and compassion is at the heart of the service.
