Job/Position Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and develop user interfaces for software applications, ensuring an intuitive and visually appealing user experience. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective UI/UX designs. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and facilitate discussions with project teams. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather user feedback and iterate on design solutions. Define and maintain UI/UX design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects. Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into the software development process. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, technologies, and industry standards, and propose innovative ideas to enhance user experiences. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the successful implementation of UI designs, providing guidance and support as needed. Assist in the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including style guides, design patterns, and user flow diagrams. Participate in project meetings, providing UI/UX expertise and contributing to discussions on product design and strategy.

Skills Required:

Proven experience (3-7 years) in UI/UX design, preferably in a software development or technology environment for the automotive industry. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects and demonstrating proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices. Experience with user research methodologies, including conducting user interviews, usability testing, and persona development. Proficiency in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools. Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on UI/UX design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into user-friendly designs. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
