An excellent opportunity has arisen for Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Physiotherapist to work within the Fife Rheumatology Service.

We are a dynamic and proactive MDT, led by a Consultant Rheumatologist, providing high standard care for clients with Rheumatic Diseases. This is a Fife wide service with a team of Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Pharmacists and Psychologists.

You are required to be an experienced Physiotherapist who can provide a specialist physiotherapy service for clients with complex Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal presentations. As part of your role you will be required to assess and treat patient predominantly in an outpatient clinic settling at hospital sites but also to potentially lead a community exercise class and hydrotherapy class.

We will support and develop you with the needs of the service and your own career goals in mind, and encourage learning alongside the four pillars of practice with roles in education, research, clinical and service leadership. You will have a mentor and a supervisor who will listen to your ideas, involve you in service planning and nurture your development.

We are committed to Continuous Professional Development and appropriate learning opportunities and peer-support are offered. Clinical and non clinical time is generously balanced. Flexibility in outlook and mindset to travel around the Fife area is required depending on Service need. Your role will be solely within the Rheumatology Physiotherapy Service. 

We work closely with wider physiotherapy colleagues, Allied Health Professions (AHPs), other health care teams, social care and the third sector to provide excellent care to the people of Fife.

Fife provides a unique location to live and work, sitting between the two major cities of Edinburgh and Dundee, with access to beautiful countryside and coastline locally. The Highlands and the majority of the countries’ population are within an hour and a half drive from central Fife.

For
