The Exeter Renal Unit is dedicated to delivering high-quality clinical care in all areas of renal medicine. The department has recently achieved the status of an Academic Renal Unit, and we expect the new appointee to have a higher degree and contribute to the academic success of the unit.
The UEMS Consultant will be responsible for a combination of ward, haemodialysis, and Exeter Medical School duties. In the Senior Clinical Tutor role, they will be involved in in-person teaching, workplace-based assessments, and supporting non-clinical teams in organizing teaching and developing teaching and assessment resources. The role holder will also be appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer.
