Were looking for a Clinical Specialist Mammographer to join our Mammography service at The London Breast institute, currently rated Good by the CQC.
Main duties of the job
As a Specialist Mammographer at The London Breast institute we will ask you to undertake and perform all mammography procedures including assisting with biopsies and other interventional procedures under the guidance of the Breast Radiologist.
Duties & responsibilities:
Perform quality control functions related to mammography and bone density scan. Participate in both screening and symptomatic breast clinics Assist with vacuum assisted biopsies where appropriate. Perform bone density scans. Undertake administrative duties involved with the Mammography service under the guidance of the Mammographer Superintendent. Utilise and understand the PACS Meditech Information Systems.
