We currently have a great opportunity for aRegistered Nurseto join our Care Plus team at The Sandford Nursing Home, Church Stretton, Shropshire on a permanent basis working 30 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
As a Registered Staff Nurse, you will work and lead within the Nursing Home team, assisting elderly residents with normal activities of daily living, promoting independence and maintaining their dignity and respect. You will provide leadership in the care of people with complex needs and through effective communication, our residents receive a person-centred and holistic review of their individual needs and preferences.
You will administer medications as prescribed, following correct procedures and equipment, and assist in implementation of care plans, re-assessments and reviews. You will liaise with the GP and other health care professionals as and when necessary, to ensure the health needs of residents are identified and met whilst maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of patient care.
