Job Duties:
  • Provide support and assistance to Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Help create and implement individualised education plans for SEN children
  • Assist in classroom activities and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to address the specific needs of SEN pupils
  • Monitor and track children progress, providing feedback to the teaching team
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and SEN support strategies
Education:

Relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning

Experience:

Experience working with SEN students in an educational environment

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of EYFS curriculum and SEN support techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with SEN children
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • First Aid certification
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting with EYFS pupils with SEN. The work may be physically demanding and require patience and flexibility.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
