We are currently working with a Secondary Academy in Romford who are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to join their school ASAP on a full-time basis for the summer term.

 The Role

In this role you will be teaching Maths across KS4 and should have a good understanding of GCSE maths. You will be joining a supportive Maths department and planning will be available to adapt as required for your students. You will be involved in some assessments for students and guidance will be provided by the department for this.

The school are looking for a maths teacher with the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Maths Specialism
  • A proactive and engaging teaching approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels

The School 

This diverse and inclusive Secondary Academy is based in Romford and is easily accessible by car or local bus links. The school has a relatively new leadership team who have brought a positive and pro-active approach to improving learning for all students and are showing excellent results. Students are well behaved and engaged in learning. Pupils have access to an exciting curriculum with a broad range of subjects and qualifications alongside opportunities through enrichment, trips, visits and experiences.
