Duties:
Cut trim and prepare meat products according to customerspecifications
Follow food safety and sanitationguidelines to ensure the quality and safety of meatproducts
Operate and maintain butchering equipment andtools
Receive and inspect meat deliveries for quality andfreshness
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies asneeded
Assist with the preparation of specialty cuts suchas steaks and roasts
Package weigh and label meatproducts for display or storage
Provide excellentcustomer service by answering questions and offeringrecommendations

Requirements:
Previousexperience as a butcher or in a similar role preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and bestpractices
Ability to work in a fastpaced environmentwhile maintaining attention to detail
Excellent knifeskills and knowledge of different cuts of meat
Physicalstamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavyobjects
Flexibility to work weekends evenings andholidays as needed
Strong communication skills tointeract with customers and team members
