Our support helps to keep people in their own homes, surrounded by familiarity and comfort.

The Role:

As a Support Practitioner, you’ll be the helping hand that carers rely on. Your role involves providing respite care for 1-5 hours at a time, allowing carers the well-deserved break they need. With an impressive 5-star rating from the Care Inspectorate, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care and support. We strive for excellence in everything that we do, and our Support Practitioners play a vital role in maintaining these high standards. We value flexibility , and our support visits can be tailored to work around your other commitments, whether it’s childcare, studies, or other responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for caring individuals who have a genuine passion for making a positive impact in their community.

You do not need professional experience to join us. We provide comprehensive induction training to all new team members.

Drivers are preferred, as our service extends to rural communities.

Carr Gomm will cover the cost of PVG application and reimburse the SSSC registration fee for all new workers. £200 Recommend a Friend Scheme (T&Cs apply). Fully funded SVQ qualification with support from a dedicated team. Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and sick leave. Time and a half payment for any time worked over 37.5 hours per week.
