About the role:
As a Sales Solutions Consultant you'll utilise your Subject Matter Expertise, product expertise and using a consultative approach support the Sales team and Account Managers with prospective clients and how to solve their business problems and achieve quantified business benefits using FIS software, services, and related business process changes. The role will involve working closely with clients, the Sales team, the Product Management team, and the Professional Services team..

What you will be doing:
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales team to generate and close pipeline and deliver on quarterly / annual quota.  Providing in depth subject matter and product expertise across the entire Securities Processing value chain - this includes front to back securities finance processes (repo and securities borrowing and lending) , collateral management and optimisation).

The Sales Solutions Consultant - Securities Finance will perform the following tasks:

  • Providing sales consultancy during an engagement, combining SME and Product expertise in building credibility and confidence in the prospect that FIS understand their business issues / drivers and pressures facing them
  • Identifying solutions to address the issues presented or otherwise identified. These will typically be based upon one or more core FIS products, services or specific developments, which are generally defined by the Sales Solutions Consultant
  • Analyse client requirements and construct appropriate responses, demonstrating software and responding to RFI/RFP documents
  • Work with Product Management and provide input into future direction, strategy, and roadmap of solution(s)
  • Support Sales in pipeline generation activities.
  • Work with the GTM, Sales and Marketing teams on defining 'Go to market' plans and executing Sales and Marketing campaigns


What you will need:

  • Relevant professional experience within a Securities finance desk, software vendor, or consultancy firm.
  • Securities Finance and Securities Processing expertise – Across front to back securities processing, securities finance (repo and equity finance), collateral management, and optimisation value chain.
  • In-depth understanding of Global regulatory frameworks SFTR, CSDR EMIR, Dodd-Frank,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on presenting and value based selling
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and drive
  • Sales acumen
  • Desire to help shape business strategy and growth
  • The flexibility to travel circa 25% - 30%. Predominantly in Europe
