MFL Teacher

Step Teachers are working with a secondary school in Suffolk that is looking for a passionate and devoted MFL Teacher, to join their successful MFL department. The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic about language learning and dedicated to providing a high-quality education to our pupils. This is a long-term supply role and the successful candidate is expected to start in September 2024.
MFL Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at various levels.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
- As a MFL Teacher you should foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and language-related events within the school community.
MFL Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- As a MFL Teacher you should have experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at a KS3 and KS4 level.
