As a Finance Manager within our global reporting team, based in London, you will report on the Middle East region of the business. This will include monthly reporting, working with the auditors, and ensuring that statutory requirements are met.

You will report to the Senior Finance Manager for the Middle East.

What you'll be doing:

Responsibility for month-end reporting across Middle East entities and specific processes across all group entities Liaise with the broader reporting team on processes performed at the group level and take responsibility for specific processes as requiredWork with the local Middle East Finance Strategy and operational teams to ensure a thorough understanding of all accounting entriesAssist the local Middle East Finance Strategy with any queries on monthly reportsMonthly variance analysis of P&L and Balance sheet, including working with other Finance sub-departments to fully understand monthly actualsMonthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including resolution of variances and issues identifiedPrepare statutory accounts for Middle East entities in accordance with local accounting standards Work with external auditors to fulfil their requests and answer their queriesSupport the Senior Finance in finance transformation and ad hoc projectsSupport external group reporting team during the half-year and full-year Group reporting process

Requirements

Accountancy qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 2+ years of post-qualified experience in a relevant industry roleTechnical accounting knowledgeGood working knowledge of IFRS15 A desire to take responsibility and ‘own’ your workExperience with delivery results – you are willing to to create resultsA desire to work in a fast-paced, frequently-changing environment with targets designed to improve a major global marketAn awareness of the importance of deadlines

Advantageous, but not required:Some experience of a startup environmentPrior experience of NetsuitePrior experience of Blackline Prior experience of intercompany Prior experience of IFRS16
