Neuro Occupational Therapist - Band 6 - Stroke Pathway

Warminster Community Hospital , Devizes Health Centre

26 Hours per Week - Permanent

The integrated Community Neurology and StrokeService at Wiltshire Health and Care are looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 OccupationalTherapist to support the team in delivering rehabilitation to stroke patients aspart of the stroke pathway.

If you are currently a B5 with neurology orcommunity experience, we can also consider offering this as a developmentalpost to progress to B6.

You will be working with a supportivemultidisciplinary team comprising Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, andRehabilitation Assistants and within the wider team working with a range ofproviders and disciplines.

Working within the stroke pathway is a greatopportunity to provide rehabilitation to this client group and change andimprove individuals quality of life.

Main duties of the job

This role will be based in the communitypredominantly in North and West Wiltshire although a degree of flexibility willbe required depending on service demands.

This is anexciting opportunity to work with our dedicated and experienced therapists. Aswell as receiving regular supervision, there is a regular programme ofinservice learning, peer support and opportunities for service development.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car touse regularly for business purposes is essential.
