Nursery Chef

Job Description
In our Beaumont House Nursery in Twickenham, on excellent transport links, we are seeking an experienced Nursery Chef  who is a skilled Chef and wanting to join our team, and creating delicious culinary experiences for our children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a good awareness of nutrition and healthy eating and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.   The role is based on a 38 hr working week Monday to Friday with salary c£27k plus loads of great benefits.   

Beaumont House Nursery is based in Twickenham High Street, part of CC Nurseries Group, a 92 place lovely nursery that has been designed to spark curiosity and imagination, and each room is filled with hand-picked resources to encourage self-directed play and discovery, together with the love for the outdoors, where the children not only have access to outdoor space at the rear of the nursery to enjoy, but regularly take trips to local green spots to enjoy fun in the fresh air We offer our team great training opportunities and support, excellent facilities and the satisfaction of having the opportunity to deliver truly outstanding care for children

RequirementsIdeally you will have

Previous experience in a similar role; 
Food & Hygiene Level Certificate Level 3 ( or at least a level 2)
Proven experience as a Chef
Cooking and preparing meals for 70 children
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, and culinary techniques
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Proficient in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with staff at all levels effectively
