We are currently seeking a Teacher of Computing within our fully inclusive, all-through learning community. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has outstanding experience and/or potential. Our new teacher will be expected to motivate and inspire students, staff and parents to develop and promote a culture that challenges students to achieve at the highest levels.  

The post will suit individuals who are looking to ultimately become successful middle leaders in the future. The School has a highly talented and motivated staff body and a supportive, bright and extremely well-behaved student body.

The school is currently rated as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. Our early years foundation stage provision is judged to be outstanding. This school is an oversubscribed, academically successful all-through (aged 4-19) school that strives to develop individuals into ambitious, highly successful, happy and resilient young adults.  We make learning enjoyable from reception year right up to the sixth form.  We provide a challenging academic curriculum, coupled with a very supportive pastoral system that values the strengths and talents of the individual student. Qualifications:
• Computing Teacher with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Legal ability to work within the UK

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Develop students’ digital literacy, IT skills, and computer science knowledge.
• Engage students in coding using Scratch and Python.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the computing curriculum.
• Potential opportunities to teach across a range of courses based on expertise.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
