Job summary
We are looking for two qualified High Intensity CBT Therapist to join us in delivering the best care we can to our patients.
The CBT therapist role is highly valued and seen as an integral part of what we do. Our therapists provide disorder specific assessments, formulation and evidence-based CBT protocols for people with anxiety disorders and/or depression. We work to the stepped care model to provide the least intrusive and most appropriate level of care to meet the needs of the person. Therefore, our CBT therapists will offer a wide range of treatments and delivery formats. Adapting what we offer to make our treatments more accessible is a critical characteristic of what we do.
We have permanent, full & part-time (min hours per week) roles available, working between the hours of 8am 8pm Monday to Friday with onsite and hybrid options available.
Main duties of the job
We have a CBT preceptorship for newly qualified staff and career development opportunities through to senior management and clinical leadership. As you will already know, NHS Talking Therapies is fast paced. We listen to our staff wellbeing needs and provide clinical CPD, self-care sessions and high-quality resources to enable you to support people effectively. The role is varied and constantly evolving with the evidence base and guidance and you can be a part of our evolution if you join us.
About you
We would love to hear from you if you possess the following:
Hold a Post Graduate Diploma in High Intensity Interventions or other Post Graduate CBT training qualification Hold BABCP accreditation or be working towards full accreditation. Are looking to work for an innovative provider who really values you and your career development. Have a proven track record of delivering high quality disorder specific assessments, formulation and protocol-based CBT interventions that reflect local and national priorities and targets. Able to demonstrate good therapeutic relationships with people. Able to undertake thorough risk assessments. Able to organise high volume workload to ensure effective prioritisation and delivery of objectives. Are flexible to meet the needs of the service

Job responsibilities
Provide disorder-specific assessments and evidence-based, high intensity CBTinterventions for people with anxiety disorders and/or depression. We work to thestepped care model to provide the least intrusive and most appropriate level of care tomeet the needs of the person. Therefore, our CBTs offer a wide range of treatments,including telephone and online treatment, psycho-educational groups, courses,workshops, webinars, and one-to-one work. You can expect to hold a caseload of 24clients.

Essential
Evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem utilising high intensity CBT. Evidence of managing a high-volume caseload. Experience of working within an NHS Talking Therapies provider and achieving good individual outcomes in patient work. Demonstrates experience in robust risk management processes. Demonstrates high standards in written communication. Demonstrates the ability to work within the boundaries of confidentiality. Ability to manage own caseload and time. Experience of using NHS Talking Therapies data management systems. Thorough and up to date knowledge of the CBT role, NICE Guideline protocols for High Intensity CBT Interventions, and latest updates to evidence base and delivery. Knowledge of medication used in anxiety disorders, depression and other common health problems and where gaps in knowledge exist, takes appropriate action to ensure these are remedied. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of anxiety disorders and depression, the stepped care model and step-up/down options to aid clinical decision making in the service and appropriate patient coordination. IT literate. Able to demonstrate clinical outcomes and meeting agreed performance targets. Ability to write clear and legible reports, letters and notes.

Essential
Qualification from High Intensity NHS Talking Therapies Course (Post Graduate Diploma) or other Post Graduate CBT training course. BABCP accreditation or working towards full accreditation.
Desirable
Qualified to deliver EMDR, Interpersonal Psychological Therapy, NHS Talking Therapies Couples therapy for depression. PWP and CBT Supervisor training certificate (or willingness to attend).-
