The Role

As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the maintenance and improvement of plant and facilities to ensure continuous and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for leading and developing a small team of Maintenance Engineers.

Duties include:

  • Lead and develop the maintenance personnel to achieve the highest standards of engineering discipline, focusing activity on strategic and business goals to develop a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that plant and facilities are maintained to the highest standards to continually improve efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Provide support to manufacturing management by effectively diagnosing and resolving operational issues with manufacturing equipment keeping downtime to a minimum.
  • Regularly review and improve maintenance and engineering practices and procedures Liaise with contractors and suppliers.
  • Participate in training, meetings and develop relationships with work colleagues throughout the company in order that all parties can benefit from developments and knowledge.

The Person:

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following:

  • Time Served Maintenance engineer with at least 5 years of experience within the Manufacturing / FMCG industry
  • Maintenance Supervisory or Team lead experience
  • Proven fault finding and diagnostic skills.
