An Ofsted rated GOOD secondary school in Northamptonshire is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their vibrant teaching team from September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to become a permanent member of staff in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' curiosity and passion for Science.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Science curriculum and advancements in educational practices.
• Support students' personal and academic growth through effective pastoral care and guidance.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• A degree in Science or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.

Desirable:

• Experience with A-Level Science teaching.
• Familiarity with the latest educational technologies and digital learning tools.
