We are looking for a Chef de Partie. This is a full-time role and will be reporting into the Head Chef.

Working pattern:  Shift work / Monday to Sunday / 5 days per week with 2 days off / rotas are done on a weekly basis.

We are looking for someone who has a strong background in a culinary environment, either as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef with over 2 years experience. A skilled professional with the ability to oversee specific kitchen sections and with a proven track record of upholding the highest standards of culinary excellence and contributing to the overall success of the dining experience.

As a  Chef de Partie  you will be responsible for:

ensuring guests are always receiving an exceptional dining experience working with Head Chef to plan creative menu and correct food preparation ensuring that all food items are prepared as per standard recipe cards maintaining portion control and minimizing waste checking the food stock levels within the culinary department areas checking quantity and quality in relevance to the hotel occupancy supervising Chefs and Kitchen Porters and their activities within the kitchen training team members on RCH culinary standards and inspire team members to produce imaginative TNTs, thus creating a memorable guest experience

100 Princes Street will be our first hotel in Scotland.

The original building and its iconic features will be respectfully renovated, transforming it into an exclusive retreat on Edinburgh’s most famous street. With uninterrupted views of Edinburgh Castle, 100 Princes Street will replicate the boutique atmosphere of its sister property, Hotel 41, the most-loved hotel in London and TripAdvisor’s number one hotel in the English capital for over 10 years.

At a glance:

100 Princes Street is home to 25 guest rooms and five suites. The hotel’s two signature suites – The Archibald and The Isobel – boast direct views of Edinburgh castle. The interiors of 100 Princes Street are inspired by Scottish explorers and their travels. Scottish artisan weaver, Araminta Campbell, was commissioned to create five bespoke tartans for the hotel, that adorn the walls of every bedroom and suite. A number of bedrooms enjoy stunning views across Princes Street Gardens towards Edinburgh Castle. All guest rooms are equipped with every mod-con, including charging points for a variety of devices.
